Mount Siguniangshan area, also named Four Girls Mountains area, is an AAAA National Park. It is named for the four famous and adjacent mountain peaks. The main attraction of the park is the unspoiled natural beauty. The unique shapes of the peaks are rarely seen anywhere else in the world.
In the scenic area, there are tens of mountains at the altitude of over 4000m and three main valleys. It is a good destination to choose one peak to climb and hike.
Siguniangshan Town, formerly Rilong Town, is the nearest town and the entrance of the scenic area. Siguniangshan Scenic Area is famous for four girls peaks: Yaomeifeng (6250m), Sanfeng (5355m), Erfeng (5276m), and Dafeng (5025m), and three main valleys: Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley and Haizi Valley.
Dafeng and Erfeng are the favorite climbing mountain for the domestic and international mountaineers. Visitors can take the sightseeing bus to visit Shuangqiao Valley, and choose to hike in Changping Valley and Haizi Valley.
In the scenic spot, there are tens of mountains to climb. All peaks have ever been conquered by the mountaineers. The most famous peaks are Dafeng, Erfeng, Sanfeng and Yaomeifeng. Before, you plan to climb the peaks of Mt. Siguniangshan, please make sure that you have a good physical and take professional equipment.
After getting the Mountaineering Permission, you firstly come to Siguniangshan Town and spend one day hiking in Changping Valley to acclimatize to the high altitude, and then two days to climb the Dafeng or Erfeng.
The hiking from Changping Valley to Bipeng Valley is one of the most classic hikes through the scenic Mt. Siguniangshan range. Tourists need three days to ascend the Changping Valley to the 4668m pass and descend down into the Bipeng Valley.

Siguniangshan Scenic Area is located at Siguniangshan Town, Xiaojin County, about 220km away from Chengdu. It takes at least 5 hours driving from Chengdu to the town.
