Bifengxia Panda Base is the biggest Giant Panda base in the world, with 155 pandas. In the tour, you will be a volunteer to serve for them and have plenty of time to watch pandas and take photo with them. You could also talk to our guide about option of booking to hold a baby panda for once in a lifetime experience. It needs about RMB2000 which will be the donation fee, helping to save the endangered Giant Pandas.

Day 1: Chengdu Arrival

Upon your arrival at the Chengdu Shuangliu international airport, our tour guide will meet and escort you to your hotel in Chengdu downtown. After a short break, we will have a trip to Wenshu Temple, a typical ancient monastery of Qing Dynasty. Then move on to visit Jinli ancient street, one of the oldest streets to appreciate the local snacks and artifacts. At night, have a delicious dinner of Sichuan cuisine.

Day 2: Chengdu - Bifengxia (B, L)

Today after breakfast, we will drive to the Bifengxia Panda Base, which is the biggest Giant Panda base in the world, with 155 pandas. The base was officially opened on Dec.26th, 2001, covering an area of 1,000 acres, and now is one of the largest panda breeding ecological park in the world, which covers research, publicity, education, and ecological tourism.

(Please note: Due to the horrible viral disease, the program that allows visitors to take pictures holding a panda is still suspended. We will publish the news when it is reopened. Today, you will be arranged to explore the daily life of the cute pandas and see them in a house or outdoor, and visit Bifengxia valley and Bifengxia Ecological Zoo.)

Day 3: Bifengxia - Chengdu (B)

Clean the Dormitory Area of Giant Panda

After breakfast, you will be a panda volunteer to have plenty of time to watch pandas and take photo with them. Then drive back to Chengdu. We will transfer you to the airport/ train station for your next destination.
