Yala Snow Mountain features a harsh climate. The rainy season is from May to September when the southwest monsoon brings warm and wet air to this area. However, after September to next April, it will experience bitter winter when the strong west wind comes. During winter, climbers are forbidden to visit for the lowest temperature will be almost -50°C and the maximum wind speed will be above 25 meters per second.
