Travel from Downtown Area to Kuala Lumpur Airport
There are three ways to get to the Kuala Lumpur Airport from downtown in the city, using taxi, the Transit Metro, and the Airport Bus Service. Taxis generally take around 50 minutes to get to the airport, and can cost from around 16 Dollars, which makes it worth sharing a taxi for. The metro offers two trains to the airport, the KLIA Express and the KLIA Transit. Trains go to both terminals, and cost around 8 Dollars per person for the 38-minute trip. The bus system is the cheapest option, costing just 6 Dollars, and running from the city center to the airport every hour. However, it does take around 70 minutes to reach the airport.
