    Trip Overview

    Our best designed trekking tour from Changping Valley to Bipeng Valley starts from Chengdu with fixed departure dates. Joing in this trip, you will experience the stunning scenery of the popular hiking adventure in Mount Siguniang, as well as the hospitality and cultures of the local Tibetan people. To camp two nights at the camp sites in Mt. Siguniangshan and cross the Yakou over 4,600 meters, it requires physical demand and necessary equipments.

    Day 1: Chengdu-Dujiangyan-Rilong Town

    After breakfast, our travel guide and driver will meet you at the hotel. We will drive to Wolong via Dujiangyan and Wenchuan in the morning.

    Ater lunch in Wolong, we will cross the Mount Balang (4532m) and enjoy the magnificent mountain landscape along the way, and we could see the panorama of Four Girls Mountain if the weather is great.

    In the afternoon, we will arrive in Rilong Town where the Four Girls Mountain is located.

    Stay overnight in Rilong Town

    Today after breakfast, we will walk less than 1km to the east of Rilong, from here we purchase tickets and wait for the next sightseeing bus to Lama Temple, the start point of our 3 days' hiking adventure. Today's hiking route is from Lama Temple to Wood Mule (Mu Luo Zi), 16KM and about 5 hours. Camping at Wood Mule, the foot of the "Yongest Sister" of Four Girls Mountain tonight.

    The length of Changping Valley is 29KM with about 100 square kilometers, and the Four Girls Mountain is situated at point that is about 16km away from the entrance. The scenery is gorgeous and varies in distance and seasons, and we will traversing in the ancient post road lined with numerous ancient pines, quiet boardwalk, dry seas, and tens of meters waterfalls. In spring, the mountain flowers and rape flower in full bloom; in autumn, the red birch and red maple will have a beauty contest.

    After breakfast, leave Wood Mule for the tail of Changping Valley, Fork Valley (Cha Zi Gou), almost the same distance as yesterday and about 5 hours as well. But the elevation is much higher, you will feel a little harder. The landmarks along the way are Water Dam (Shui Da Ba), Turtle Stone (Wu Gui Shi) and Sheep Full Stage (Yang Man Tai).

    After the dinner, sleep early for the most difficult part.

    Day 4: Fork Valley-Ya Kou-Bipeng Valley

    Today we need to get up very early at about 4:00am, as we will hike the most difficult part from the Fork Valley Base Camp to Ya Kou, which is about 6KM, and the elevation rises up to 4668m from 3900m with a very steep section.

    Once crossing over Ya Kou, the rest is much easier with downhill road all the way. After about 2.5 hours, we will arrive at the Bipeng Valley, and enjoy the gorgeous landscape with the highlights of White Dragon Waterfall and Droma Lake.

    Get on the car waiting for us in Shanghaizi Station and get to Goukou of Bipeng Valley.

    Today we will return back to Chengdu via Li County, Wenchuan and Dujiangyan. Transfer to your hotel in Chengdu or airport/train station for your next destination.

    2. International and domestic flight/train to Chengdu (Note: we accept the domestic flight/train tickets booking to Chengdu from other cities in advance, check the updated ticket availibility and cost with your travel consultant);
    3. Airport/Train Station pick-up and send-off services (We can provide the airport/train station pick-up and send-off service. Please contact our travel consultant for the details);
    4. Meals that are not specified in the itinerary (Averagely a meal in the 3rdpole region cost 3~10USD per person);
    5. Tips and gratuities for the trip leader and driver;
    6. The expense of a personal nature like alcoholic beverages, laundry, phone call, etc;

    Itinerary Alteration

    Once we receive your tour deposit, which is followed by signing the contract, your reservation is secured with legitimacy. Our staff will reserve the accommodation, vehicle, site tickets, meals and more, and pay the deposit for our suppliers. So if you want to alter to another itinerary, you need to cover the deposit we've paid, while no service charge is needed if you make some changes on the itinerary you booked.

    Cancellation and Refund Policy

    If you cancel the tour beacuse of your personal issues, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges that are bounded by 3rdpoletour.com cancellation policy as follows:

    1.) If you cancel the tour more than 30 days before the trip starts, you will forfeit 10% of the total land cost per person;
    2.) If you cancel the tour 15-30 days prior to your trip start date, 20% of your total land tour cost will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
    3.) If you cancel the tour 7-15 days before the trip starts, you will forfeit 30% of land cost.
    4.) If you cancel the tour 7 days prior to your tour start date, you will forfeit 50% of land cost.
    5.) If you fail to show up or cancel at your scheduled arrival time without prior notice or later than that, you will forfeit 100% of the land cost.

    If the tour has to be cancelled because of the natural disaster or the government restrictions that is beyond both parties control, we will charge only USD50 per person, this is just the service fee and larbor fee during the preparation. This is a rare occurrence!
