Dujiangyan Irrigation Systerm is located on the Minjiang in the northwestern area of Dujiangyan City. It was originally constructed around 256 BC and is still in use today. The Dujiangyan Irrigation System consists of three main constructions, including the Yuzui, Feishayan, and Baopingkou. And nowadays, there is Lidui Park, which covers the Dujiangyan System and the nearby attractions, such as Fulong Temple, and Erwang Temple. You can stay in the ancient town, visit the Taian Temple and taste delicious local food in the restaurants in the ancient town.
The famous attractions in the Back Mountain are Five Dragon Ditch, Cliffside Spring Groove, Baizhang Bridge, Shenmu Cave, etc.

Dujiangyan is 50 kilometers from Chengdu and Mount Qingcheng is 68 kilometers away from Chengdu Downtown. It is very convenient to get to Dujiangyan and Mount Qingchen from Chengdu by car and by train. There are frequent tourist buses driving from Chengdu to Dujiangyan and Qingchengshan, and the new intercity railway between Chengdu and Dujiangyan provide a easier way to travel from Chengdu to Dujiangyan Irrigation System and Mount Qingcheng. It takes about 40 minutes from Chengdu to Dujiangyan by train and only costs 15RMB. From Chengdu to Mount Qingchengshan, it takes about 45 to 50 minutes by train and costs 15RMB.
