Tea House in Pengzhen

Leshan Giant Buddha

In the morning, your tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel, and drive about 40 minutes to the tea house in Pengzhen. You can drink a tea and have a taste of real daily life of old Chengdu. More importantly, you are expected to size the chance to shoot pictures here, because the sunlight in the morning is good for photography.

And then, you will move on to Leshan Giant Buddha. It will take you about one hour and forty minutes. With a height of 71 meters, the Giant Buddha sits at the confluence of three rivers. It is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. It was carved on the cliff of Lingyun Mountain in order to suppress the flood. Enjoy spectacular view of the huge statue as you walk down through the narrow staircases to the foot of the Buddha.

After exploring the Giant Buddha, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chengdu downtown or the airport.
