Today's highlights: Chengdu Panda Base, Wenshu Temple, People's Park, Jinli Old Street

Start your Chengdu trip with the city's biggest stars: giant pandas.

Your guide and driver will take you to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning, when the pandas are generally more active.

Walk through the leafy park and watch pandas of different ages eating bamboo, climbing trees, playing, or simply relaxing. Depending on the season, you may also have the chance to see young panda cubs.

After the panda base, return to downtown Chengdu and visit Wenshu Temple. Take a quiet walk through its Buddhist halls and courtyards, then explore nearby Wenshufang if time allows.

Next, slow down at People's Park. Find a seat at a traditional teahouse, order a cup of tea, and watch everyday Chengdu life around you. Locals come here to chat, play mahjong, dance, practice water calligraphy, or simply spend time with friends.

Finish your sightseeing at Jinli Old Street, where you can wander through traditional-style lanes, browse small shops, and look for Chengdu snacks you'd like to try.

After the tour, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel.
