After breakfast in the morning, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, and head to visit Chengdu Panda Base (also known as Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center), which is the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. Here, you can explore the daily life of the cute pandas, and see them eating bamboo at their active time (from 9 o’clock to 11 o’clock).

After lunch, the car will take you to the ancient Baoguang Temple to experience the authentic Chinese Buddhism culture. It is one of the “Top Four Buddhist Temples in West China” with rich store of Buddhist scriptures and numerous Buddhist Monks. For the strong atmosphere of Buddhism and tranquil environment, this Temple has been attracting a great quantity of visitors and Buddhists to feel the Buddhist culture and pray.

Then you will move on to Renmin Park to experience the most authentic Chengdu local life. Having a cup of tea in a traditional tea house. When you enjoy the tea, your tour guide will bring a set of Mahjong and start the highlighted Mahjong lesson. Mahjong is the most popular gambling game for local people. After you learn how to play it, you may be able to play it with locals and get fun from it. Also, you are able to take a stroll around the park, and you can see many locals, especially seniors will hold all kinds of activities in the park, like dancing, singing or playing chess, etc.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chengdu or the airport / train station for your next destination.
