The total biking distance of this tour is 20 - 30km, and it will takes you about 2 - 3 hours. The detailed information about the one day biking tour as follows:

In the morning, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, and drive to your first destination of your biking tour - Dujiangyan city, about 70 kilometers from Chengdu. It's close to the famous Dujiangyan Irrigation Project which was built over 2,000 years ago by Li Bing. It is honored as the “Treasure of Sichuan”, which still plays a crucial role in draining off floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for more than 50 cities in the province. To avoid crowding with tourists who visit the irrigation project, you will cycle through the city to a mountain foot, from where you will head to Qingcheng Mountain.

At the beginning of your biking tour, you will enter the old city to cycle through several small alleys, river bridges and pass by the main gate of Dujiangyan Irrigation Project. You can have a stop there and shoot pictures.

Later, you will ride your bike enter the mountain area. During this period, you will feel involuntarily peaceful, because the quiet village is not affected by the development of progress, and the green mountains pass by you. After a short ride, you will arrive at Dujiangyan Panda Base, where you will take 1.5 hours to walk around the different enclosures to see the adorable Giant Pandas.

Then, you will head to Qingcheng Mountain for lunch in a local restaurant. Here, you can also have a chance to visit the tea farm which used to serve green tea to royal family. Drinking a cup of tea like locals to enjoy the easy life, undoubtedly, would be a memorable experience in your life.

Your last destination is a local temple, which has a long history of over 1,000 years. As it is not known to many people, It still keeps its primitive state. Here, you can learn something about Buddhism and appreciate the architecture.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chengdu downtown.
